His short film A Well Spent Afternoon (2016) premiered at FilmFest Dresden, which was followed by more than 35 international film festivals, including New York ICFF, Edinburgh IFF, Sarajevo IFF, Leeds, Montpellier, TIFF – Kids, and Oberhausen Int. Short Film Festival where it won EVO Promotional Award of the Children's Jury. His feature film A Good Day's Work (2018), produced by Turkish public television TRT, Obala Art Centar Sarajevo, and Bela Film Ljubljana through Sarajevo Film Festival pilot project Sarajevo City Of Film for Global Screen, was premiered at Busan IFF. His third feature film Don't Forget To Breathe (2019) premiered in a competitive section of the Rome Film Fest’s Alice Nella Città, dedicated to films for the young audience. In 2020 the film won the Vesna Award for Best Feature Film and Best Cinematography at the Festival of Slovenian Film.

Film Ne pozabi dihati nas popelje v zgodbo o dveh bratih na prelomni točki njunega mladega življenja. Režiser Martin Turk se je žanra mladinskega filma lotil z namenom, da bi pripoved za mlade povzdignil na raven avtorskega filma. In to mu je tudi uspelo. Ne pozabi dihati z mnogih vidikov filmskega ustvarjanja ponudi popolnoma zaokrožen izdelek, ki ga žirija v letošnji konkurenci celovečernih igranih filmov brez težav prepoznava kot najboljšega.

S pridihom italijanskega neorealizma izpove zgodbo bosanskega vsakdana mlade družine v stiski in očeta, ki išče delo, a ga najde šele, ko pristane v zaporu. Univerzalna zgodba o socialno ranljivi družini z brezposelnim in preveč poštenim očetom, ki ne zmore pristati na korupcijo, čepravza ceno preživetja, je v današnjem koruptivnem svetu še kako aktualna na vseh koncih sveta. Režiser z občutljivo in pricizno režijo in z vodenjem odlične mednarodne filmske ekipe ustvari human film tenkočutnih občutij, visoke morale in etike.
