About
Temporama was established in 2013 with a goal of providing support for the new generation of up-and-coming Slovenian film-makers. Their first feature film Consequences by Darko Štante premiered at Toronto IFF in 2018, followed by a considerable international success. Their most recent focus has been on producing feature films, with several titles currently in production or development, but they remain active in short form, documentary film, television content, and experimental cinema.

The film has succeeded in plucking from oblivion a precious piece of Slovenian film history from the second half of the 20th century. It will help the audience understand the relationship between mainstream Slovenian cinema and the various avant-garde movements, and to appraise them within the cultural space of the former Yugoslavia.
Special mention goes to Sara Bezovšek’s experimental film The Future … Is Just Like You Imagined, which skilfully translates her intermedia installation into a film, testing the principle of the telephone screen on the cinema screen.
Sponsored by German post-production studio D-Facto Motion, the D-Facto Motion WIP Award of €35,000 in-kind services plus up to €5,000 for additional expenses went to the work in progress GIRL IN THE NIGHT by director Luka Marcetic and producers Andra Jeric and Jerca Jeric (Temporama, Slovenia).

Adolf Zukor Prize, the Festival’s Grand Prize 2018 1 000 000 Ft ~ 3 000 EUR Jury statement (hungarian): A zsűri mély benyomást a teljes színészi gárda játéka ennek az elsőfilmes rendezőnek a munkájában. A film megrázó hitelességgel ábrázolja azt, mivel jár az önelfogadás hiánya.
