Kaj pa Ester?

I always thought high school was a great environment to set a film in, because seemingly everything is possible and everything is allowed there. The audience is not so judgmental towards these characters because they understand that they don't really have things figured out. It seems to me that this is similar to the whole experience of life - what is life other than simply growing up? Adulthood is like a kind of illusion in which we pretend that everything is clear to us, or at least should be, but that's far from reality. When I was in high school myself, I had a dream that one day I would bring something different to Slovenian cinema and that I had to do something in that respect. Two decades later, I know that it is impossible to do that by myself, but at least I have achieved one of my life goals, which is to have my own film in the cinema. The next goal is to make an even better film.
