Synopsis
The central theme of this animated children's film is the life and growing up of a lizzard in an environment where playfulness can unexpectedly turn into fear, as he finds himself in danger and has to run away from the cat. By closely following his adventures, children learn details about the living environment, habits and diet of these interesting animals.

Tako zraste Martinčica z enostavno naracijo, logično prikazano zgodbo, dobro doziranim konfliktom ter kvalitetno napisanim besedilom skozi rime in preprosto, a učinkovito animacijo našim najmlajšim gledalcem predstavi neizbežen konflikt v naravi, a vseeno ohrani srečen, pomirjujoč konec, kar je za tako starostno skupino dobro. Kljub pedagoškosti je scenarij subtilen, igriv, primeren za otroško percepcijo, animacija je preprosta, vendar dovolj povedna in komunikativna. Likovna zasnova je jasna, barvita in prijazna, kar pritegne in na nevsiljiv način nagovarja otroško občinstvo.
