Synopsis
Petra and Jure's Christmas is far removed from festive warmth. The brother and sister live in a remote mountain village where they need only one thing—money. When Marlowe the dog disappears and a generous reward is offered, it sets off a chain of comic and tragic events in Matteo Oleotto's dark Christmas tale.

Director's statement
The Last Slap follows a group of underdogs in a remote, snowbound village searching for a way out of despair. Blending Christmas warmth with icy reality, this dark comedy, inspired by Fargo, turns nature into the characters' greatest enemy.
