Set in the picturesque coastal town of Piran, three children from distinct backgrounds cross paths. MARIO, a local girl, lives with her grandmother. She is also the unintended recipient of a misdirected SMS. This message sets off a domino effect, leading them through a series of puzzles and adventures tied to medieval Piran's mysteries. As they outwit caricatured bandits, GRANDEMARE and JOFA, their friendship bond strengthens and love sparks between Barbara and Robert. The culmination of their journey reveals the "treasure": a collection of letters exchanged between famed violinist Tartini and the iconic violin maker, Stradivarius.

Mladinska detektivka, umeščena v Piran in na slovensko obalo, je zanimiva in napeta pripoved o treh mladostnikih, ki rešujejo uganko, povezano s srednjeveškim Piranom. Scenarij je zelo konkretno umeščen v čas in prostor, pa tudi lokalno popkulturo in kulturno dediščino, denimo z navezavo na zgodovinske osebnosti, kot sta Tartini in Stradivari, in je tako relevanten; trije junaki prihajajo iz različnih socialnih okolij, kar je za mladinske filme pri nas nekaj redkega, in so napisani izvirno; hkrati so njihove težave z družino ali pomanjkanjem denarja nekaj, s čemer se bo lahko poistovetil marsikateri mladi gledalec ali gledalka in zato dokaj univerzalne. Liki so tudi sicer v veliki večini napisani prepričljivo, četudi so mestoma karikirani, kar pa je pri mladinskem filmu lažje sprejemljivo. Tema filma je kljub poenostavitvam in predvidljivosti zanimiva. Scenarij je strukturno solidno zastavljen, četudi mu nekje na polovici zmanjka zagona. Pričakujemo, da bo film zaradi svoje zanimive zasnove in napetega dogajanja privlačen za širok krog mlajših gledalcev in gledalk.
