Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Nikola spends the sweltering summer caught between the violence of the streets and the fragility of his broken home, where he must parent his own mother. In search of closeness and acceptance, he struggles to find a place where he does not feel completely alone.
Nikola (17) spends his days on the streets with his peers, dealing drugs and being part of a violent street gang. At first glance, he seems confident, even cruel, but behind the tough facade lies a young man struggling with the burden of being the family breadwinner and taking on a parental role for his own mother.
