Synopsis
Two elderly musicians on the search for a sweetheart from the past cross paths with a rising young singer, which takes them on an adventure of a lifetime.
Vlado kidnaps his best friend Boris from the hospital, unable to come to terms with the fact that Boris is dying. His plan is to take him to Serbia to reunite him with his unrequited love interest Neda, a woman he lost touch with years ago as a result of a set of unfortunate circumstances. All goes well until they cross paths with a Roma girl called Esma, when life decides to take a different turn.

V tem pisanem filmu, polnem zanimivih likov, nas je še posebej prepričal policijski inšpektor, ki uspe kljub omejenemu času svojemu liku dati karakter, pri tem pa mu uspe mala bravura.

Zanimiva kombinacija melodrame z elementi komedije, kriminalke in akcije, ki ne pristaja na nikakršne vsebinske kompromise in hkrati ohranja izjemen potencial za širši krog gledalcev tako doma kot v regiji. Dramska struktura je dovršena, situacije delujejo osmišljeno in samostojno, pri čemer jih nadgrajujejo duhoviti in organski dialogi ter verodostojna in večplastna osrednja lika. Vse to
se prepleta v dveh osnovnih zgodbah; najprej v zgodbi prijateljev, Vlada in Borisa, na poti k davno izgubljeni ljubezni Nedi in s tem na poti k smislu življenja, ki ga vidita v ljubezni in iskrenem prijateljstvu. Druga zgodba je napeta kriminalka, ki jo sproži likvidacija priče osamosvojitvene trgovine z orožjem, v kar se po naključju vpleteta osrednja lika na svoji odisejadi iz Ljubljane do Beograda.
