Marko and Monika first met as teenagers. After their friendship fell apart, they went their separate ways and didn't see each other for nine years. Marko studied in New York, Rome and Slovenia to become a priest. Monika got married and had three children with Gregor. When the family went on holiday in summer of 2005, Gregor was killed in a car crash. Then Monika and Marko met again and became friends and later fell in love, despite the fact that he was a priest.
