France Štiglic was born on 12 November 1919 in Kranj, Slovenia. He is a director, screenwriter and mentor. The most well known projects he collaborated on are Povest o dobrih ljudeh (1975), Deveti krug (1960) and Dolina miru (1956). He received 10 awards. He died on 04 May 1993 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
