An observational documentary with cinematic experience asking: What is important in life? The motivation for the film is director’s loss of her father. Every one of us will have to face mortality. It’s up to us what we’ll be like in those moments. This is a story of retired journalist, paliative care promotor Manca Košir who gets diagnosed with cancer and lets us into her intimate world, which is the door in exploring departure. She says her friendship with death began at the age of 19, when she was in the film The Birch Tree (1967), lying in a coffin most of the time. It is also a story of director's experience of the loss of her father. But most of all it is a story about departing, memories and love. The creative documentary about mortality explores in its core the acceptance of time and celebration of life. What will you do with the time you have left?
