Synopsis
Rajko is a professional magician who broke his arm during one of his shows. But his insurance company Tangenta is unwilling to pay him the insurance benefits due to a bureaucratic error. Outraged by the injustice, he is defended only by the kind-hearted insurance agent Marcel who tries to help by getting Rajko in the room with the Tangenta’s CEO himself. But the meeting goes sour as Marcel impulsively kidnaps the CEO, much to Rajko’s surprise, and together they soon find themselves on the run.

I wanted to make a film that starts at the point where one usually gives up, when they are discarded, dumped and outplayed by a system. What would happen if they didn't just surrender?

Motivacija za film je najprej žanrska vrzel komedij za odrasle, enako pa družbenopolitični kontekst, ki malemu človeku odvzema vse več pravic. Zato prav on postane osrednji junak, ki se bori z birokratskimi mlini na veter.
Struktura je preprosta, saj sledi liniji razreševanja nerazrešljivega v skoraj kafkovski situaciji pred ogromnim in samozadostnim sistemom. Osrednji lik je žanrsko izdelan, prepričljiv in motiviran v svojem boju za pravico. Šibkeje dramaturško je motiviran lik Lutalice, saj se zdi, da služi le kot blažilec hudih udarcev, ki mu jih zadaja zmeraj
znova neuspešen boj. Igra se obrne šele na točki, ko se glavni lik v nemoči posluži najmanj razumnih, a ultimativnih sredstev.
Film bo najbrž privlačen, zlasti za slovenski kulturni prostor, zaradi identifikacijskega učinka in duhovitosti.
