For ten years Marjetka has shared her life with Max, a painter and an uncompromising conceptualist. When their relationship started, everything seemed perfect. Max was witty, charming, talented and promising, and Marjetka found herself a job to provide for them until Max becomes famous and successful. Today, Max is still witty and charmingly sarcastic as ever, only money and glory have eluded him. The phrase "I’ll make it one day, you’ll see" is ever on his lips. A few days after her 30th birthday, Marjetka, sceptical about the lifestyle that simply isn’t her cup of tea, realises that Max is not only a lazy and incorrigible bohemian, but also a womaniser. She decides to make some radical changes in her life. So, instead of Max, it’s Marjetka who succeeds. In short, this is a black comedy about the life of artists who are doomed to fail. All but one.
