A young man works at a champagne-production in the north of Slovenia. He has to turn thousands of bottles slightly by hand, giving them a twist. During this hypnotic work his mind starts to wander and images of privacy mix with short stories happening in the factory and around. A documentary film with fiction elements - about work, suffering, life, success, pain and pleasure - champagne as a metaphor for hard labor and splendor, for tradition and future at the same time.
