Obrazložitev (črnogorsko): Specijalno priznanje dokumentarne selekcije Filmskog festivala Herceg Novi za 2017. godinu dodijeljeno je filmu ”Granice”, Damjana Kozolea, za drugačiji pogled na fenomen imigrantske krize, koji izbegava eksplicitnost i pretjerano dramatizovanje praveći jednostavnu, efektivnu, nenametljivu filmsku postavku, dopuštajući publici da sama promisli dok doživljava delić fizičke patnje kroz koju su ovi ljudi prošli.
Horizons competition programme.
For employing a deceptively simple composition to maximum cinematic effect, in depicting a mass of people in transit both through the frame and across geographic terrain.
MAREMETRAGGIO SECTION: The EstEnergy award for best short film goes to Meje by Damjan Kozole for the capacity to create a contemporary drama that touches millions of people, and re-establishes scope in an extraordinary synthesis that above all invests in in mis-en-scene.
En sam skrbno komponiran kader brez vsakršne intervencije nastavi ogledalo sodobnemu času in naši lastni neobčutljivosti.
Competition Programme - Documentary Film dealing with the subject of human rights.
