A biopic about five teenagers in the mid-1960s who started a band that would generate mass hysteria in the former Yugoslavia. Although they produced only a handful of original songs, they could attract crowds of tens of thousands of people. In Ljubljana, they helped inaugurate the Exhibition and Convention Centre and Tivoli Hall. The band laid the foundations for the Yugoslavian music industry, cracking open Yugoslavia’s Iron Curtain and helping liberate a whole generation from the chains of post-war socialist monumentalism.
