A student wakes up in a manhole at an empty parking lot. He doesn’t know how or why. His screams summon the passers-by. They establish that the shaft has been welded shut. They are full of ideas, advice as well as pity and contempt. Nevertheless, the student is somehow useful to everybody. He is in a hurry to get out since an important meeting awaits him. The police and rescue service are allegedly on the way, but the evening storm keeps drawing nearer.
