Synopsis
The lively and spirited journey through the lives of Mila and Mara is a colorful adventure of two quite different life paths nourished and driven by decades of sisterhood love.

Director's statement
It's a story about two heroines whose relationship is built on my relationship with my sister. It contains elements of fantasy that intertwine with feelings of nostalgia and references to the present. The story emphasizes the joy of life and playfulness, despite a thousand and one obstacles.

Režiserka in glavna animatorka je avtorica nekajkrat nagrajenega kratkega risanega prvenca. V avtorskem filmu, predlaganem v sofinanciranje, skozi izvirno zgodbo dveh sester izpostavi ljubeč in trden sestrski oziroma prijateljski odnos kot vrednoto, kar je v času pretiranega individualizma zagotovo relevantna tema. Iz scenarija je vredno izpostaviti tudi pozitiven odnos do starosti, dodelitev glavnih vlog ženskam ter vseskozi zafrkljiv ton prezentacije likov in interpretacije dogajanja. Zgodba se odvija v večkratnih skokih v preteklost, kar je v režijski viziji prepričljivo utemeljeno in predstavlja izvirnost v pripovednem postopku.
