Synopsis
Mak, a young man working his night shift at a gas station, encounters Nada, a female truck driver. They bond over their shared Macedonian roots and find comfort in each other as they attempt to escape their loneliness.
Director
Director's statement
Greek Apricots explores the notion of home beyond borders through an intimate encounter between two strangers at a gas station – a space of transience, languages, and cultures. The film is inspired by my own experience of growing up in Slovenia with parents from North Macedonia and Croatia.
