Synopsis
The children's feature film by Neven Hitrec is based on the novel "Diary of Pauline P." by Sanja Polak. The film warmly and humorously depicts school life, friendships, first loves, and family dynamics. From the perspective of the protagonist, who relentlessly pushes boundaries, we get to know her world, where anything is possible.

Director's statement
I wanted to create a witty and empathetic film that would leave the audience smiling and in a good mood. I was inspired by classic Croatian comics, such as the legendary Durica by Ivica Bednjanec, as well as the playful form and creative diversity of cartoons from the Zagreb School of Animated Film.

hrvaško: U ovom scenariju, baziranom na poznatom literarnom predlošku, pratimo događaje Pauline P., devetogodišnje djevojčice, koja opisuje događaje unutar jedne školske godine. Paulinin način pripovijedanja je živahan i dinamičan, a karakteri su vrlo dobro opisani te ih se s lakoćom može vizualizirati. Na nekoliko mjesta usputni karakteri prekidaju radnju i, poput neke vrste antičkog kora, efektno komentiraju događaje. Tim postupkom scenaristica razbija ritam te obogaćuje pripovjedačku živahnost i raznovrsnost. Ova priča se temelji na popularnoj istoimenoj dječjoj knjizi. Knjiga se nalazi na popisu školske lektire te je izuzetno čitana među mlađim naraštajima, što bi trebalo garantirati veliku kino gledanost. Osim čvrstog i kvalitetnog scenarija koji je prošao sve faze razvoja, dodatni razlog puštanja ovog projekta je kvalitetna producentska priprema i sigurnost koju produkcija pruža u ostvarenje istog. Na kraju bismo spomenuli i činjenicu da je Neven Hitrec iskusan i kvalitetan redatelj koji se nakon dosta vremena konačno vraća igranom filmu.
