Sonia is a romantic story, with elements of horror, taking place in an inter-space between the world of the living and the world of the dead. The film deals with an unusual, dusty, surreal world stinking of moth-balls and decay, where a passionate love is born that cannot come to fruition because it was born in a completely inappropriate environment. The dead don’t love, because they are dead.
