Synopsis
"The Same Sweat is Still Flowing Through the Same Pores" is based on long-term research of a specific site to which the author is connected through family history. The film reflects on subjectivities, the past, and the relationships that are formed on the land. Through continuous documentation and interventions in the landscape, film takes the form of a journey through time and an ongoing attempt

The film reflects on subjectivities, the past, and the relationships that are formed on the land. Through continuous documentation and interventions in the landscape, film takes the form of a journey through time and an ongoing attempt to understand the space, its inhabitants, objects, and transformations. Rhythm and narrative are constructed through the interplay of different filming techniques and montage, the use of multiple cameras, and several voices in different registers.

hrvaško: „Isti znoj i dalje teče kroz te iste pore“ Neže Knez prijedlog je filma s elaboriranom projektnom dokumentacijom koja uz detaljno i precizno opisan koncept, metodologiju rada, vizualne reference, sadrži i primjer procesa eksperimentiranja s medijem, kako u slici, tako i u zvuku. Polazeći od povezanosti s određenim prostorom, autorica širi istraživanje u nekoliko smjerova – s jedne strane prati odnose i suživot koji se oblikuju krajolikom, s druge kombinira analogne i digitalne postupke u kreiranju i traženju specifičnih vizura; finalno svoju ideju pažljivo oblikuje spajanjem rezultata nastalih kroz istraživački rad i kreaciju. Okosnicu filma čine tijelo i materijalnost, kontakt ili dodir koji se u različitim formama očituje u filmu – nekad kroz prikaz, nekad kroz postupak (transformacije), uvijek prisutan kao trag ili otisak u pejzažu, odnosima, u slici, u samom oblikovanju medija. Dojmljivi su svježina, čulnost i lakoća s kojima autorica pristupa mediju.
Treba istaknuti da priprema projekta nastaje u produkciji Studija Pangolin koji omogućuje uvjete za posvećen rad što podiže kvalitetu predloženog materijala, istovremeno ukazujući na značaj i ulogu kolektiva u sklopu kojih je moguće razvijati različite pristupe, tehnologije i individualne poetike.
