Synopsis
Ahmad is a young man, a talented painter who was granted asylum in Slovenia after having fled Afghanistan. His family stayed behind. Ahmad would like to talk to them, all he wants is to hug his mum one more time. A night, he has bad dreams about his mother, brother, sister, his past life, the friends he left behind. Ahmad is a young man, a talented painter who was granted asylum in Slovenia after having fled Afghanistan. His family stayed behind. Ahmad would like to talk to them, all he wants is to hug his mum one more time. A night, he has bad dreams about his mother, brother, sister, his past life, the friends he left behind. When he arrived at the Austrian border together with some 500 other refugees, he was tied a red ribbon around his wrist meaning that he was rejected. The film includes his own footage from his new environment, Slovenia. He has a job now, but he dreams about becoming a film director.
