Synopsis
Matej Smolnik was a painter, a writer and especially a musician. The tragic and unusual death that befell him at the young age of 22, created a number of mysteries and controversies. Why did he burn almost all of his fine art? Was he really a genius or just a solitary eccentric? Are the musical recordings discovered in his basement really his own? Why is there hardly anything known about his creations? What was the true cause of his seemingly almost paranormal death? And last but not least, what is the truth and what is myth in this story?
