The revolutionary year of 1968 brings together Stane, a student of philosophy, and Mojca, a first-year student, who fell in love with Stane at a party he threw to celebrate his not having to serve in the army. Stane and Mojca get married and have a child. Stane gets a job with a newspaper, where he has a hard time being accepted due to his rebellious beatnik nature. Mojca is also upset by his affairs and is devastated when their child dies. Stane and Mojca agree to separate, but Mojca becomes pregnant again with her departing husband during their last night together. Stane tells her she should have an abortion, and in doing so, shatters the last remnants of hope that Mojca harboured for their relationship. Will the couple be able to bridge the rift between them? What will happen when Stane triggers off an avalanche of fateful events by his daredevil attitude, which even threaten his life? Will Mojca heed his request and sacrifice their unborn child in order to re-establish their relationship?
