One summer evening, a Chilean woman named Teresa shows up in a village at the foot of the Dinara mountain. The village is deserted, since everyone went up for the summer pasture, high in the mountain. They left behind only Milena, a lonely woman left unmarried to serve her family. Teresa says she is the widow of Milena’s brother who went to work in a mine in Chile. He died in an accident and she decided to travel the world to join her new family, to bury his bones.
