Hitler orders "the plan Weiss" for the destruction of partisan units to begin in 1943. Partisans, their headquarters, 4.500 wounded soldiers and those who suffered from typhoid fever found them in the valley of Neretva surrounded by the enemy. There was only one bridge left to cross the river, but there was the enemy waiting for them on the other side of the river and waiting to kill them. Tito ordered to destroy the bridge. The surprised enemy then moved to another location thinking that partisans would try to break through the circle there. But the partisans built a provisional bridge and escaped during the night.
