In a place we all know and have passed through countless times, a curtain suddenly opens onto the backstage of unexpected human interactions. Simple yet consistent in its storytelling and cinematic language, and supported by unpretentious direction that allows familiar stereotypes to shift, the short film kept surprising us through the evolving correlations between its characters. Thanks to good co-acting delivered with remarkable naturalness, the short creates a rich experience for the viewer. We found ourselves moved by this small story, which left us with the friendly feeling of being close to humans we did not know just a few minutes earlier.

Just another night at a petrol station becomes an allegory of a microcosm that reflects all solitude, boredom, everyday life, and hopelessness of the territory of former Yugoslavia.
