Igrani film Ostri vrh je postavljen tik pred začetek druge svetovne vojne na slovenskem. Majhna vojaška enota je poslana na severno mejo, kjer se v pričakovanju bližnjega spopada stopnjujejo napetosti, strahovi in medosebni konflikti. Dogajanje, umeščeno na odročno kmetijo v gorah slovenske Koroške, prepriča z avtentičnim prikazom manj znanega zgodovinskega obdobja. Film izstopa po prepletu resnobnega vzdušja, komičnih vložkov ter dinamičnih akcijskih sekvenc.
