Synopsis
Every True Poet is an experimental documentary portrait of Slovenian poet Tomaž Šalamun. Born in 1941, Šalamun is widely considered to be among the world's most important and influential poets. He has published nearly 50 books of poetry, and his work has been translated into more than 20 languages. Inspired by its subject, the film is an imaginative journey to encounter the power of Šalamun's poetic world, the sources of his inspiration, and his profound message as an artist.
