Ivan wakes up and gets out of his bed. His girlfriend Jana is sitting in the living room and drinking coffee. A quiet morning ambience tenses when Ivan becomes jealous. Their argument grows into insults, broken things, slaps and blood. Jana is surprised but determined when she throws Ivan out of the apartment. Ivan, who is still not aware of what he has done, gets in his car and rushes away. He drives home to the countryside, where the meeting with his father proves to be the lowest point in Ivan's life.
