David, a college dropout, finds a woman's wallet in a toilet. Soon we realize there is something valuable inside, but we don't know what. David explores it with interest and decides to inspect it in detail before returning it to the owner. His work is made very hard by a neurotic waiter and a number of unusual incidents in the bar, and suddenly the task of giving back the wallet becomes something very difficult, if not impossible. Through the bustle of events accompanying his decision, David constantly has to face his childhood fears, which preclude him from having genuine relations with the opposite sex.
