Synopsis
In a big nest, a little stork named Loka hatches. While browsing the family album, she discovers birds she has never seen before. Curious, she learns they are called “endangered”. Loka sets off on a journey to find these birds herself. Along the way, she meets a tawny owl, a woodpecker, and a duck- each explaining why they are not (yet) endangered and how their survival depends on a healthy enviro
In a big nest, a little stork named Loka hatches. While browsing the family album, she discovers birds she has never seen before. Curious, she learns they are called “endangered”. Loka sets off on a journey to find these birds herself. Along the way, she meets a tawny owl, a woodpecker, and a duck- each explaining why they are not (yet) endangered and how their survival depends on a healthy environment. When Loka pulls a plastic bottle from the river instead of a fish, she encounters human impact for the first time. She realizes that she too can help the endangered birds. Her parents then give her a map, showing her where they live — and where her next adventures will begin.

The series invites children to explore their surroundings, appreciate diversity, learn to cooperate, and develop a sense of responsibility towards nature.

Štorklja Loka je projekt, ki so ga avtorji primerno izboljšali in postavili le pilotno zgodbo za začetek serije. Duhovit pristop do poljudnoznanstvene snovi, blizu otroškem čudenju nad naravo in odkrivanju novega v znanem. Lokalno gre za zelo pomembno zgodbo in posledično projekt. Zanimiva zgodba, dobro grafično zastavljena z otrokom primerno izdelano likovno podobo. Animacija je zanimiva za domačo otroško publiko saj pokriva področja Slovenije z njenimi specifičnimi pticami. Animacija je pomembna tudi za poznavanje narečij in s tem bogatenja jezika in besednjaka otrok prve šolske triade. Če tu vključimo še ljudsko glasbo, za katero bo poskrbel vrhunski slovenski glasbenik Janez Dovč, lahko pričakujemo res zanimiv način združevanja prikaza tako narave kot kulturne dediščine. Avtorji so vsi priznani umetniki na področju animiranega filma. Producent se je izkazal s svojim dosedanjim delom in vliva zaupanje tako v časovni okvir produkcije kot v strokovno in finančno kredibilnost izvedbe projekta.
