Rado is a 66-year-old retired man who must move out of his apartment. Darja, the landlady, comes to check if Rado is ready to leave. Just when it looks like everything is fine, Rado reveals that he hasn't found an apartment. After an unsuccessful negotiation with Darja, Rado finds himself in a dead end. Rado is about to end up on the streets. Rado grabs a chair and hits Darja. Darja collapses on the floor and dies. Rado cleans up after himself in a complete panic. Just as Rado is finishing cleaning up the mess up, someone rings the bell. Mia, a young pregnant woman, has come to see the flat. Rado panics and takes over the role of showing the flat. During the tour, Rado begins to suspect that Mia has a hunch that something is wrong. In desperation and panic, Rado starts to explain and justify his actions. Suddenly, Mia begins to have severe contractions. At first Rado stands there, not knowing what to do, but then helps to resolve the situation. He calls an ambulance and comforts her as they wait for help.
