Synopsis
Amidst the ruins of Celje—bombed during the war—a choir of 3,000 children performed four songs in 1946 under the direction of Jurče Vreže. This marked the beginning of the youth choir festival. 80 years later, the documentary film pays tribute to all those who performed, as well as those who organized choral singing for children and youth.

Director's statement
My first association with the festival is the joy of having classes cancelled for the concerts. But I also remember picture from 1946, which served as the central thread of the film. That is why it was necessary to track down the repertoire from that performance and find a living witness.
