Maja and Metoda are two retired ladies from Slovenia, who share common passion for dancing. They were auditioned for an international contemporary dance performance for amateur dancers older than 65. Maja and Metoda are two retired ladies from Slovenia, who share common passion for dancing. They were auditioned for an international contemporary dance performance for amateur dancers older than 65. They were supposed to co-create performance in Tenerife with Spanish elderly, but then COVID-19 epidemic broke out. Confronted with epidemic restriction rules, technical, physical and emotional barriers they fearlessly prolonged with making performance between Canary Islands and Slovenia - Online. With a help of video technology, the performance was successfully premiered in the summer of 2020 in two places at the same time: Slovenia and Tenerife. Dance, in that specific epidemic time, more than ever, became a symbol of life. With a journey into an unknown territory, it challenged each of them in a unique way, conquered their fears, reached for their dreams, discovered their passions to enrich, inspire and motivate all generations with their story, because it is never too late for a new beginning.
