Synopsis
Perhaps the Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons were not as different as the scientists first suspected. If a bear bone with little holes in it, found in the cave of Divje babe, was man made, it would support this thesis. Some hypotheses were suggested, that the bone in question served as a whistle.
