Mariborska dvorišča

This documentary demonstrates the process of changing of the city courtyards, which gradually lost their purpose by the end of the 20th century. The courtyards frequently started to decay because they were not being used and the space they once provided began to lose its meaning for the residents and the visitors. Symbolically the story of Maribor's courtyards is the image of the old, hidden Maribor, with its interlaced narration of past and present times in the concealed corners behind the closed doors and ornamented facades.
