The film shows the long-gone past that was wholly dependant on farming and a historic way of formation of village communities. The Man of Srednje/Stregna is a valuable ethnographic document, but at the same time a tale imbued with profound humanity. The re-mastered edition of the movie is made of new editing of the original footage in the 8 mm format and an entirely re-mastered sound.
