Karmela

A docudrama about the life and career of Karmela Kosovel, a cosmopolitan woman and one of the sisters or renowned Slovenian poet Srečko Kosovel. In the 1920s, Karmela studied and graduated in piano in Trieste, before receiving further training in Munich and pursuing a successful career as a concert pianist. Through her letters, the film traces her life and career from two angles: her love affairs, and the feelings some notable figures on the then Slovenian cultural scene had for her.
