Synopsis
Based on the book “Rožengrunt”, the film explores true cases of women convicted of killing their husbands in the 1930s. Their stories reveal that crime cannot be understood without acknowledging violence, poverty, and the social conditions of the time. The film also addresses systemic violence against people on society’s margins today.
