The Second Skin is a documentary about the evolution of clothing through time, encompassing numerous styles in various social contexts. Clothes not only protect, but also speak. Hide, reveal, seduce, appeal and classify. How to dress and what to wear is always a matter of culture and society. The film looks into a variety of clothes, while addressing sexism, the body, tradition, fashion, and other subjects related to Slovenia’s economic and social reality.
