Synopsis
A marionette wakes up in a kitschy antique store, embraced by its creator, Dolores. Though it becomes sentient, it remains mute. Dolores abuses this by forcing the doll to dance for profit. The Doll tries its best, yet fails every time, leading to further punishments. After a disobedient performance, it attempts to escape only to find out a dark truth.

Director's statement
Control and narcissism are the main themes, with an exploration of nature versus nurture. How do we treat those closest to us, and how do we treat ourselves? My hope isn't to offer answers, but reflection. Can we recognize toxic patterns in our lives, can we begin to treat ourselves with more care?
