Synopsis
By drawing parallels between the carnival dances of "hysterics" at the Salpêtrière asylum and the proto-drag balls at Magic City, the film explores the evolution of the ‘’folle’’. Blending animation, archival footage, and performance, it reclaims marginalized histories and questions the gaze shaping modern ideas of gender and sexuality.
