Prešeren Award Recipients 2023, Ema Kugler and Matevž Luzar

We invite you to our annual Prešeren Holiday film screening event with the Slovenian Film Database and the Slovenian Film Center.

This year, the celebration is especially joyful, as two recipients of The Prešeren Award are from the ranks of filmmakers. Multimedia artist Ema Kugler is the recipient of the Prešeren Lifetime Achievement Award, while director and screenwriter Matevž Luzar is the recipient of the Prešeren Foundation Award.

We will screen online the feature films Man with a Shadow (2019) directed by Emma Kugler and Good to Go (2012) directed by Matevž Luzar.
