Vilko Filač was born on 14 February 1950 in Ptuj, Slovenia. He is a director of photography and camera operator. The most well known projects he collaborated on are (A)torzija (2002), Rdeči boogie ali Kaj ti je deklica (1982) and Amen pod kamen (1979). He received 6 awards. He died on 25 November 2008 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
