Biography
Emanuel Nevado (1980) is a Portuguese animator and director of animated films. In 2014, he completed a master’s degree in Directing and Stop Motion Animation at the Escola d’Animació de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. That same year, he moved to Bristol, UK, where he earned the prestigious Certificate in Character Animation, awarded by Aardman Animations and the National Film and Television School. He is the creator of five independent short films and currently works primarily as an animator, screenwriter, director, and puppet maker. He lives in

He lives in Bristol, where he has been a regular collaborator with Aardman Animations since 2014. With them, he has contributed to several acclaimed and internationally successful stop-motion animated films and series, including Shaun the Sheep, Early Man, Morph, The Very Small Creatures, and Chicken Run 2. He also works as an animator with Disney, contributing to TV specials produced in Manchester.
