Synopsis
The film More Than Just a Dorm explores the role of the Student Dormitories in Maribor. Over six decades, they have provided space for numerous generations and served as a hub for the social, cultural, and avantgarde engagement of students in Maribor. Through their testimonies, the interviewees also present the development of the Student Dormitories.

What drew me to making this documentary was the diversity between generations, how personal interactions will evolve due to new technologies, and what future generations will be like. I wanted to create a layered documentary—ranging from humorous to serious topics—where all of this is taking us
