Synopsis
It is a film about the human heart, juxtaposing the latest scientific visualizations (from the Thorax Center Rotterdam) and original nature sequences by Andrej Zdravič (lightning, currents, waves, flames, lava, clouds...). Heartbeat is suffused with a soundtrack consisting of the pulsating of processed heartbeats and the music of the elements.
