Tomos: Narejeno v Jugoslaviji

A culturological and sociological examination of the phenomenon of the Tomos vehicle factory. In its heyday, Tomos reached far beyond its sheer technical significance for its region, growing into a global story. Back in the 1950s, the region around the coastal town of Koper struggled with high unemployment and had little industrial activity. It was against this background that the Sežana vehicle factory was established in 1954, and subsequently moved to Koper.
